Background

Bruce is a Charter Member of the Professional Tennis Registry, a former National Tester for Prince, and played professionally on the USTA/Penn Circuit. His initial training was directly with Dennis Van der Meer and he has taught with the Van der Meer Traveling Clinic multiple times.

His experiences include facility management and planning, as well as P&L responsibilities. He has been the Director at 3 Major Country Clubs and the Tournament Director of the of Mid-Atlantic Regional and Maryland State Championships.

As an instructor he is highly regarded as an expert in training players in technique and sound biomechanics through a unique understanding of both the game and people. He has managed one of the top junior programs in the entire country, taught thousands of people and coached hundreds of teams over the years.
